The total investment of YEDA Science and Technology Park reaches 6 billion Yuan, covering about 800 acres with a  building area of 1.8 million square meters, it is built by the YEDA Management Committee and Shandong Zhiben Capital Assets Operating Company to construct five areas and one belt such as science, technology research and development area, comprehensive service area, startups service area, education and training area, supporting living area and Liulin River leisure landscape belt.

The park will adhere to the policy of industrial pillar, industrial chain and product cluster development mode and focus on the development of high-end service industries, software industries, electronic information industries, e-commerce industries, new energy sources industries, new materials industries, marine science industries and technology industries. It plans to introduce 300 large and medium-sized technology enterprises and R & D centers, 10,000 high-end scientific research personnels, after the completion, the annual output value will reach 10 billion Yuan, profits and taxes will reach 2 billion Yuan, and to create a science and technology innovation center, research talent based center and business incubation center based in Shandong and faces the whole country.
